1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using linkobio (the "Service"), provided through linkobio.com and related platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. About the Service
linkobio is a "link-in-bio" platform that allows users to create a single page hosting multiple links and content. Features include custom themes, analytics, QR codes, WhatsApp integration, and restaurant-specific tools, available across Free, Pro, and Business subscription tiers.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use linkobio. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
4. Account Registration and Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscription Plans and Billing
linkobio offers three subscription tiers:
- Free: Limited features, no charge.
- Pro: $5 USD per month with extended features.
- Business: $15 USD per month with all features.
Billing terms:
- Paid subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
- You can cancel anytime via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
- All payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full payment details.
- Refunds: We offer a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription. No refunds are issued for renewal periods.
- Failed payments may result in service downgrade to the Free tier.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you post on your linkobio page, including links, profile information, images, and text. By posting content, you grant linkobio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and process that content solely as necessary to provide the Service.
You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you post and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use linkobio to:
- Post illegal content or facilitate illegal activities
- Distribute spam, malware, phishing, or fraudulent content
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others
- Impersonate individuals or organizations
- Engage in hate speech, harassment, threats, or discrimination
- Distribute pornographic or sexually explicit material
- Promote violence, terrorism, or self-harm
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate this policy, with or without notice.
8. Intellectual Property
The linkobio platform — including its logos, design, code, and all content excluding user-submitted content — is the property of linkobio and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time via your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., financial records).
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, linkobio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Cairo, Egypt.
